Your First 30 Minutes
Enter the World
You awaken in the Shattered Atrium, a crystalline hub world. Take a moment to look around — the hex grid beneath your feet extends in every direction.
Your First Hex Movement
Tap an adjacent hex to move. Each move costs one action point per tick. The grid is your tactical canvas.
Elemental Basics
Interact with an elemental shrine to discover your first element. Fire, Water, or Earth — each opens different tactical options.
Your First Gaian Encounter
A wild Gaian appears on the hex grid. Observe its elemental type and movement patterns before engaging.
Capture Your First Gaian
Weaken the Gaian in combat, then use a capture gem. Your first companion is now stored and ready for extraction.
Your First Tactical Battle
Extract your Gaian onto the battlefield. Command it alongside your character. Learn tick timing and positioning.
Explore and Progress
Venture beyond the Atrium. Discover new elements, capture rare Gaians, and begin your journey through the universe.
Core Concepts
Every action in HexWorld resolves on a 1-second universal tick. All players submit actions simultaneously, and all outcomes resolve at once. There are no turns to wait for — just tactical decisions to make before the next tick.
Six base elements — Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, and Dark — combine into ten compound forms. Elements aren’t just damage types: they shape terrain, empower Gaians, and define your tactical identity.
Gaians are the creatures of HexWorld. Capture them in the wild using gems, store them in your collection, and extract them onto the battlefield as powerful tactical allies. Each Gaian has elemental affinities and unique combat roles.

Common Questions
Not at all. You start with 2-3 base elements and discover combinations naturally through gameplay. The depth is there when you’re ready for it.
HexWorld has meaningful stakes, but losing a battle won’t destroy your progress. You may lose tactical position or resources, but your character, Gaians collection, and progression are persistent.
Think of it like a chess clock that ticks every second. You choose your action — move, attack, cast, extract a Gaian — and when the tick resolves, everyone’s actions play out simultaneously. It rewards planning over reflexes.
Absolutely. HexWorld offers rich solo content including exploration, Gaian capture, and story-driven encounters. Group content and PvP add another dimension, but solo play is a fully supported path.
No. HexWorld’s progression is earned through gameplay. There are no purchasable power advantages. Cosmetics and convenience items may be available, but tactical depth and skill define victory.
